Royal Canoe Club– Booking Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all bookings made with Royal Canoe Club (“the Club,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). By making a booking you agree to these Terms.

2. Bookings

2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the Club.

2.2 Bookings are confirmed only when full payment has been received.

3. Payments and Non-Refundable Policy

3.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise stated.

3.2 All payments are non-refundable, including but not limited to cases of participant illness, change of plans, or adverse weather, except where required by law.

3.3 If you are unable to attend, you may request a one-time transfer of your booking to another person or date (subject to availability and our approval), but this is not guaranteed.

4. Safety and Conduct

4.1 All participants must follow the instructions of Club staff and comply with safety requirements, including wearing approved flotation devices.

4.2 The Club reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone deemed to pose a safety risk or who is under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

5. Weather and Cancellations by the Club

5.1 Canoeing is a weather-dependent activity. In the unlikely event that the Club must cancel a session for safety reasons, we will offer either a rescheduled date or a credit voucher of equal value.

5.2 No cash refunds will be given.

6. Liability

6.1 Participation is at your own risk. The Club accepts no responsibility for loss, damage, or injury except where caused by our negligence or breach of statutory duty.

6.2 You are responsible for your own belongings; we do not accept liability for loss or damage to personal property.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.

8. Direct Debit / Mandate Cancellations

Payments through Loveadmin can take 5-7 working days to process please DONOT cancel your live mandate/ direct debit until payments have been completed.
